Description
The story of “Jesus Calling” album started on the 6th of June 2016, when I was invited to a coffee party evening of a friend, who organized a monthly women meeting of a local church in her garden… At first, I hesitated to go there, since I hardly knew any of the other 50 women, who were invited. I also, hesitated to go to that party, since I had no religious experience and I detested ??? anything that had to to with rules, the Bible or the church, but that evening, something extraordinary was born inside me, when all the women chanted hymns and melodies, and light, happiness, and tears overwhelmed my heart… Since that day, I started to visit their church, to study what was the source of the feeling that caused the change I experienced, and eventually, I realized that God is guiding my way. After a year(2017), when I composed “Jesus Calling”, I felt that some of the melodies that I had composed since 1994, were musical lights from God. So I started to recollect them, and record them again, ( “Ego eimi to FWS” -1994 ” Halleluiah”-1999, “Confession”-2004, “Kyrie”-2013.). “Gleam” and the rest of the album was composed of 2017 until 2020. “Jesus calling” album is my personal journey to the Light, my personal renaissance. I hope that my heavenly melodies will donate light and happiness to the lonely souls of the world. I deeply thank all the musicians-friends that performed my music at the studio, and Linda, Efi, and Angela for their angelic voices!! Finally, I deeply thank my dear friend (for 25 years) sound engineer, Christos Zorbas for his patience and the exceptional sound effect of “Jesus Calling ” album. I feel so blessed that I become part of the family Continentals Sound/Christian Artists.
